Fresh Sport News - Nadal Won the Seventh Barcelona Open title

Rafael Nadal won the Barcelona Open for the seventh time after beating David Ferrer 7-6 (1) and 7-5 at Real Club de Tennis, Barcelona, Sunday, April 29, 2012.

This victory also makes Nadal became the first player in the Open era to win two tournaments capable of as much as seven times. Last week, the world number two is the eighth title in Monte Carlo Masters.

Ferrer swallow kekelahan Nadal in the final four of the Barcelona Open. Previous second Spaniard was met at the Barcelona Open final 2011, 2009 and 2008. Nadal also continue to retain the title as "King of Clay Field".

"This is the toughest match on clay this season. Ferrer always forces you to play up. I feel a little bit of luck today," Nadal said after the game as reported by ESPN.

Ferrer was not too disappointed again defeated Nadal in the Barcelona Open final. "I lost four times, but four times against the best players in the finals," said Ferrer.

Nadal in the final victory is the 34th consecutive Barcelona Open. Spaniard was also improving his record when playing on clay to 34-4. Only Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer beat Nadal ever on clay. viva
